Become a White Ribbon ambassador or champion
As part of its commitment, the Council is encouraging everyone to explore opportunities to become a White Ribbon ambassador or champion.
- Ambassadors: Men and those identifying as men who actively share the White Ribbon message in their workplaces, communities, and social circles.
- Champions: Women and individuals who do not identify as men, working to amplify the White Ribbon message and challenge men to get involved while ensuring women’s voices are central to this work.
Find out how you can get involved by visiting White Ribbon’s Ambassadors and champions page.
Show your support
Join the conversation online using the hashtag #WhiteRibbonDay and #ItStartsWithMen, highlighting the importance of allyship and proactive steps to prevent violence.

Are you or someone you know experiencing domestic abuse?
If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic abuse, help is available at Somerset Domestic Abuse. If you are concerned about your behaviour towards a partner, ex-partner, or family member, support is also available via Somerset Domestic Abuse’s Information for those causing harm page.
Together, we can create safer communities for all.
